Love this lead!Honestly love the ruffwear range, the lead is so secure, there is an extra clip to secure in place. Bought these for both my dogs, by far my favourite lead!

Huge decline in qualityWe have used Ruff wear collars and leads for well over 10 years and the ones we purchased years ago are still in use.However we fancied a different colour, sadly what arrived was in no way the same quality, the lead felt flimsy and was certainly not worth the price tag.Very sad to say we will no longer be purchasing anything from Ruffwear and have returned for a refund

Not the same quality as the older versionHave bought three of these in the past, and have been very impressed with the durability and quality, so didn’t hesitate to order this for the new pup. So disappointed when I received this one – it’s not as broad as the older ones, and is far more flimsy. Hope this is just a one-off, but as the accompanying collar had gone the same way, I doubt it. Perhaps a cost cutting exercise by RUFFWEAR? Shame, because I’m not sure who to buy from now.

Good quality overall but stitched incorrectlyI will be sending this item back it was stitched incorrectly so ended up with an annoying loop in the lead.

Perfekte Leine für Mensch und HundDiese Leine ist ein wirklicher Handschmeichler. Der Griff ist gepolstert und ist super zu halten, ohne einzuschneiden. Perfekt ist die zusätzliche Schlaufe am unteren Teil der Leine. Im Straßenverkehr oder wenn andere Hunde entgegenkommen, kann ich meine Terrier (46 + 50 cm Höhe) perfekt daran kurz halten. Das Material ist sehr robust, es franst nichts aus und man kann die Leine sehr gut reinigen. Auch, wenn evtl. nicht vom Hersteller empfohlen ä, habe ich sie im Wäschesack sogar mit dem Geschirr in der Waschmaschine gewaschen.Der Karabiner ist sehr sicher. Einziger Nachteil: das An- und Ableinen ist nicht so einfach wie bei herkömmlichen Leinen.Für die Hundeschule ist die Leine laut Trainerin zu kurz. Trotzdem absolute Kaufempfehlung.

Quality seems lessI’ve purchased leashes from ruffwear before and they’ve seemed very sturdy. Product used to make this leash seems so much lighter and flimsier then those I’ve bought from bricks and mortar stores in the past. Actual website doesn’t shop to Canada so I went to Amazon I have to say I’m disappointed in the change.

Thinner than expectedWould not recommend this for a large dog. I bought this for my GSD thinking that the padded handles would be comfortable when he pulls on the leash but this is a lot thinner than I expected, including the padding on handles. Clasp is also small and almost doesn’t fit on his harness ring. Overall, this feels flimsy and is too lightweight, even compared to other small dog leashes.

Sturdy leash and clipBeautiful, sturdy leash. The clip is not easy to connect and disconnect quickly. However, if you’re looking for a clip where your dog will never get loose, then this is it!
