Excellent lead for a larger pup !This is our Cane Corso puppy Mali at four months . This is such a comfortable lead to use with a large breed puppy or a dog her size who is prone to being difficult on their walks , either jumping or pulling . There is a loop from the aluminium catch to about 12 inches up the lead allowing you to hold the soft handle of the lead in your right hand while holding this loop in your left giving you full control over your puppy or older dog . The catch has a sliding rubber piece that opens the catch and slides again to lock the collar or harness onto the lead absolutely securely , so no chance of your dog escaping when the frankly dire catches on some leads fail and your dog bolts !! It doesn’t chat your hands or cause burns on your hands as some cheaper leads do ! And it looks so good on Mali with her Ruffwear Front Range harness too !

So far so goodThe clip is a bit stiffer but expected from previous reviews. Curious if it will hold up to his pulling over time. The clip will likely get easier with use. Leash is a bit more awkward than their knot a leash to handle but that is just because of shape and I have smaller hands.Love the colour and have always had good luck with Ruffwear products so let’s see how it holds up

Not good…read the review!The buckle has a plastic locking slide which wont last in the Florida heat/sunshine. The slide is not smooth either, it requires a strong thumb…I can do it, but no way could my mom, 78yr old.There is secondary loop/handle just above the latch on the leash and it’s a total distraction to the dog, because it always stays open and flaps around as we’re moving.It’s a terrible training leash, because the dog is constantly looking back at the loop and not up at me.I bought 3 products a harness, life jacket and this leash for this company, and the only thing worthy was the harness…the other two (leash and life-jacket) are throw aways.

Love this Leash!I bought this for our new puppy and I am glad I did!! The clip is easy to use and the feel in my hand is comfortable and sturdy.
