Product Description
Does your dog bark excessively? Are they pacing, panting, whining or hiding on a regular basis? These behaviors may be caused by fear and anxiety. ADAPTIL is a vet recommended, clinically proven, drug free solution that helps your dog feel calmer. The ADAPTIL Calm Home Diffuser Kit provides “comforting messages” (dog appeasing pheromones that mimic a mother’s nursing pheromones) that helps dogs feel calm and relaxed in situations like loud noises (thunderstorms and fireworks), being home alone, traveling or other fearful situations. These odorless messages are only perceived by dogs and provide a strong signal of security and comfort. By making your dog feel relaxed and less stressed, it helps to reduce problem behaviors. Cats and people are not affected by these pheromones. The ADAPTIL Calm Home Refill includes one refill vial (diffuser head sold separately). You should plug your diffuser in the room(s) where your dog spends the most time – each diffuser covers up to 700 sq. feet. Make sure your diffuser isn’t covered by curtains, or behind furniture. Each refill can last up to 30 days. For maximum effectiveness, you should replace your diffuser every 6 months. Make sure to follow the instructions when plugging in your diffuser, and plug the diffuser in upright.

A MUST FOR YOUR NEW PUPPYI very rarely leave reviews but in this case I just had to. It is so helpful for your new puppy. After 10 nights with our new puppy crying all night and I mean ALL NIGHT I was absolutely exhausted. I purchased this along with the collar. I really hoped it would work but was not confident. It arrived yesterday and I plugged it in straightaway (you need to leave it on 24/7 in the room that they sleep). I also put on the collar which I also purchased. Last night I was so tired not having any proper sleep for nearly 2 weeks so I put my puppy to bed at 9.15 pm and went to bed. I was just nodding off when I realised she hadnt made a sound. I woke around 2pm still silence. At 4pm I needed the bathroom which meant walking past her bed. She whimpered as I passed and I ignored this and went back to bed. Silence until I got up at 6.30am. Brilliant product …. try it for a good nights sleep AND peace of mind if you have to leave them home for any reason

def improvement for my little chapI have a patterdale x jack who stresses about everything. He barks at any small noise outside the house, post gets eaten, whines and barks at thunder, shakes with fear at fireworks, barks at moving cars on walks. At my wits end I impulse ordered the plug in, some tablets and a spray. I have been pleasantly surprised by the plug in. After about two weeks it seems to have had a positive effect on him. Ive noticed a more playful dog who isn’t on guard all the time. Don’t get me wrong I still have to beat him to the post, but there is a marked improvement. Have ordered a refill with the hope that he stays more relaxed or improves further.

The dog likes it.I had proof that my new dog liked the pheromones, when he lay down next to the diffuser and went to sleep. He kept lying next to the diffuser and liked it so much he started chewing it. I took it away from him to avoid any harm, so he chewed the door instead. And the telephone line and carried his bed into the centre of the room. He now has his adaptil back, but inside a cage and he is back to his serene, snoring self. His bed is next to the diffuser. I just need to fix the door and the telephone line.

Think it helped..This seems to work, but I was also using tablets, drop and calming dog food in the run up to bonfire night, so I can be 100% sure how much it helped. I will give it the benefit of the doubt though. certainly worth a try though if you have a nervous dog.

Difficult to tell if these help, I guess we’ll …Difficult to tell if these help, I guess we’ll find out tonight (New Year’s eve). He definitely knows it’s there, and has been far less inclined to indulge in obsessive behaviour. Fingers crossed.

A really good product which seems to work for my nervous lurcher …A really good product which seems to work for my nervous lurcher bitch around firework night. Although she is still very aware of the noises, she is less nervous than previous years and is not a trembling wreck!

Was very unsure whether to waste my money on this product as I couldn’t believe …Was very unsure whether to waste my money on this product as I couldn’t believe it would work! But I read great reviews and decided to try it. I haven’t looked back, my dog was suffering from being seperated from me and had started to get frightened at any noise and has wrecked a lot of doors and frames in the the last month, he is now relaxed and happy since getting this product.
